Warranty Information
Last updated 4/1/2026At Muur Atelier, we create jewelry meant to be cherished for a lifetime. Every piece is handcrafted with the utmost precision and undergoes a rigorous quality inspection before it leaves our atelier. To reflect our commitment to exceptional craftsmanship, we offer a Lifetime Manufacturing Warranty on all our fine jewelry.
1. What is Covered?
Our lifetime warranty covers any defects caused by the manufacturing process or the materials used. If you believe your piece has a manufacturing issue, we will meticulously inspect it and, if a defect is found, we will repair or replace the item at no cost to you.
2. What is Not Covered?
Jewelry is, by nature, delicate and subject to wear over time. Our warranty does not cover:
- Normal Wear and Tear: This includes surface scratches on gold, the thinning of ring bands over years of daily wear, or the natural dulling of gemstones due to environmental buildup.
- Accidental Damage: Broken chains, bent prongs, or cracked gemstones caused by impact, neglect, or improper storage.
- Stone Loss: While we ensure every stone is securely set, the loss of a center or side stone due to trauma or bent prongs (from daily activity) is not covered. We highly recommend personal jewelry insurance for bundles of security.
- Third-Party Modifications: Any repair, resizing, or alteration performed by a jeweler other than Muur Atelier will void this warranty.
3. Maintaining Your Warranty
To keep your Muur Atelier piece in pristine condition, we recommend a professional inspection every 12 months. Our artisans will check the integrity of the prongs and the security of the stone settings to prevent future issues.
4. How to Request a Repair
If your piece requires attention, please contact us at info@muuratelier.com. We will guide you through the secure shipping process to our atelier.
Once received, our master stone setters will evaluate the piece and provide you with a detailed report regarding the necessary care or restoration steps.
